Winery review: Bold aromas of briary wild berry and
cracked pepper lead to plush and layered black raspberry, toasty sage and
espresso flavors that finish with zesty tannins. This lusty
Zinfandel offers elegant berry fruit, lots of peppery spice,
medium to full-bodied flavors and impressive purity as well as
richness.
My review: Overall, I liked this wine. The wine
exuded strong scents and it was very different and thicker than most. I found
the wine to be full in taste and different from what I am used to. I was not
able to try this wine with food.
