Barnard Griffin Merlot

Barnard Griffin Merlot
Variety: Merlot
Region: Columbia Valley, Washington
Country: United States
Year: 2009
Price: $10 by glass

Winery review: Offers fabulous aromas of plum, chocolaty oak and dark berries. Luscious cherry, plum and blackberry fruit flavors
are shaded by spicy oak and bittersweet chocolate notes. Ripe tannins and perky acicity provide excellent structure

My review: I found this wine to be very full in taste, smell, and overall thickness. It was different to what I am used to and I enjoyed it. It went well with my pasta dinner. The wine has a slight kick to it and it was different. I was able to taste this wine with food and it went well with heavier dishes.
