Benegas Malbec
Benegas Malbec
Variety: Malbec
Region: Mendoza
Country: Argentina
Year: 2009
Price: $7 by glass
Winery review: Dark ruby-colored, the nose offers up an aromatic array of smoke, spice box, tobacco, and black cherry. Suave and
medium-bodied on the palate, it has plenty of ripe, sweet fruit, excellent depth of flavor, and a lengthy, pure finish
My review: Overall, I did not enjoy this wine. I found the wine to be full in body and give off a strong scent. The scent was a little too alcoholy for me and I was turned off from the start. I found the wine to be too bitter for my taste. I was not able to try this wine with food.
